Marble Cake II

Marble Cake had been everyone favourites. Whenever you see a marble cake, you can’t resist having a bite. It’s a moment of excitement which is inexpressible. So, to my dear viewer’s thanks for the support, for reaching 1000 over viewers. This is for you.

120g Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tbsp Baking Powder

120g Butter
80g  Sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence
30ml Buttermilk

1 tsp Rose Pink Colour
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder

1. Preheat oven to 170 Degree C. Generously butter and flour cake tin.
2. Set aside, in a bowl of shift flour, salt & baking powder.
3. In another bowl, whisk butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
4. Add one egg at a time and whisk until well combined. Add vanilla essence and buttermilk.
5. Fold the batter with flour mixer gently till smooth.
6. Separate the mixture into 3 different bowls.
7. Mix cocoa powder into first bowl and rose pink colour on second bowl. The third bowl is the vanilla mixture. 
8. Alternate spoonful of vanilla, chocolate and red mixtures into cake tin. When all the mixture used up. Swirl the batter to create marble effect.
9. Bake for 35 min until cake tester inserted into the centres, comes out clean.Transfer to a rack to cool.Cake can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days.

Deep Conditioner for Hair: Homemade Treatment

A lot of people I know , have common problem with their hair which is hair fall.
I tried many home made treatment for the past few years but failed.
Lately, I'm applying this specific recipe which surprisingly  works very well and my hair drop improves up to 90%.
I'm totally amaze how effective are these ingredients and I highly recommend everyone to try.

It is very easy.
In a bowl , mix eggmayonnaise and olive oil
Apply on your hair for 30 minutes or till dries.
Then, wash your hair with normal shampoo. 
You may use it weekly or biweekly.

The quantity of these ingredients are very subjective, it depends to the length of your hair.

Mayonnaise-condition your hair

Egg-restore and nourish your strands

Olive Oil-strengthens hair, moisturizes it and tames it , contains  anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff.

Coffee Cake

This coffee cake blew my mind away. As a newbies, it didn't occur that I could bake this mouth watering cake. However, This coffee cake was quite difficult for me. I tried three times and manage to obtain the perfect taste and texture.
FYI: My hubby rated 8.5 over 10.


60g butter
1 tbs coffee
80g  icing sugar

100 gram caster sugar
125g butter

1 egg
2 tbsp of mayo
1 1/2 tbsp coffee powder
5 tbsp of hot water
1 tsp vanilla essence

140 gram flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda


Beat the butter,coffee and icing sugar till well mix and set aside.


1. Heat the oven to 175°C . Coat baking pan with butter and dust with flour.

2. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda into a medium bowl and set aside.

3. Beat caster sugar and butter until light in colour and fluffy.

4. Add egg , mayo, coffee powder diluted with hot water and vanilla essence  together.Whisk till well mix.

5. Fold the flour mixture until incorporate.

6 .Bake until a cake tester or toothpick comes out dry. Transfer the pan to a wire rack and let cool.

7. Sliced the cake into half and spread the icing on one of the layer  and sandwich it.

8. Now, you can enjoy the cake.

How to Make Breadcrumb

The method is very easy . Instead of throwing away expired bread , you can do wonders with it.

1. Toast the breads till hard and crunchy.
2. Remove and allow to cool slightly.
3. Transfer into dry blender and process until breadcrumb stage is reached.
4. Store the breadcrumb in the fridge in a air tight container.
